Mumbai: TV personality Shiv Thackeray has shared the video of Lalbaugcha Ganpati’s grand first look on social media, which has created a wave of enthusiasm among devotees and fans. His post is getting a lot of love and respect from fans and devotees.
The Lal Baug Ganpati, also known as Lalbaug Cha Raja (Kin fog Lalbaug), is the most popular Ganpti in Maharashtra. Lakhs of devotees visit the pandal during the festival. Film stars, industrialists, and celebrities from all walks of life queue up to get a glimpse of this most revered deity.
On September 12, 1934, the fishermen and traders built the Ganesha idol as a gesture of thanks. The deity was dressed in the traditional manner of a fisherman. This idol is thought to grant the wishes of followers. The mandal was founded during the height of the India’s liberation movement.
