Rajasthan: Soon after Kanpur, a conspiracy to derail the train in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan came to light.
In Ajmer, miscreants placed blocks of cement weighing 70 kg at two places between Saradhna and Bangar Gram railway stations. Fortunately, the train passed ahead, breaking them, and no accident occurred.
According to the information, this was the third conspiracy to derail a train in Rajasthan. DFCC and RPF patrolling teams ensured the track’s safety, and the police registered a case and started an investigation.
From June 2023 to the present, there have been 24 such incidents, with authorities finding various kinds of objects placed on rail tracks, including LPG cylinders, bicycles, iron rods, and cement blocks. As per the Railways report, of the 18 incidents, 15 occurred in August and three in September.
The government suspects it may be the handiwork of anti—India elements working to create havoc in the country and destabilise it.
