Mumbai shines in SSC exams
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced SSC exam results online on Tuesday. The state registered a pass percentage of 81.8% while the Mumbai division's pass percentage stood at 83%, up by 4% as compared to last year.
Of the total 17,18,292 students who appeared for the SSC examination conducted in March 2014 by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Of these, 14,04,722 passed the exam. There was a good rise in percentage who scored above 90% as compared to the previous academic year 2013 from Mumbai city and Maharashtra state.
