Stroll within your office to keep diabetes away

According to a latest survey, taking stroll for two minutes within your office on an interval of every half an hour is better for your health than a regular brisk 30 minute walk in the morning or evening.

Type 2 diabetes, classified as a lifestyle disease is affecting millions of people in Britain and leaving desk for short intervals for a small walkout will have positive impact on health as per the study conducted by Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Medicine department.

People having sedentary job need short dozes of regular exercise as this frequent period of taking a walk around office in small intervals may help to improve fat and sugar levels. The study conducted on volunteers who walked just for one minute and 40 seconds were found to have lower levels of insulin and sugar in blood. If your blood sugar and insulin level is found to be high during a routine blood check up then do not ignore it as it may be a warning sign of Type 2 diabetes setting in, which may lead to stroke as well as heart disease eventually if not treated with proper medication.

A brief walkout on short intervals is all that you need within office to keep the diabetes under control on initial stages.
