ME News Bureau: On its 40th commemoration (1977-2017), Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Industries Limited said the organization owed all its encouraging to its author Dhirubhai Ambani.
"Dependence is the formation of the vision of one individual — my dad, and our originator, Dhirubhai," Ambani said amid his deliver to workers on "Dependence Family Day".
"Friends, today let us also remember with gratitude all those who worked with Papa — the great pioneers of Reliance… they often worked against impossible odds, they had very meagre resources than compared to what we have today but they never lacked ambition, passion, dedication, humility and also a burning desire and a dream to make Reliance the pride of India," he added.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who knew Dhirubhai Ambani, began his discourse with a couplet from his dad Harivansh Rai Bachchan's renowned sonnet Madhushala.
Discussing Dhirubhai Ambani, Bachchan stated, "He was not the recipient of the riches which was gained by numerous amid 1947. He had no such extravagance. He was not the third or fourth era specialist. He was the original that developed to be (among the best)".
Bachchan said Dhirubhai Ambani was driven by his own particular feelings and assessments, "The person who has just his conviction to trust upon."
He said Dhirubhai Ambani was not given any open doors, "his fantasies created those open doors," including that "marvels called Dhirubhai Ambani could just have occurred in India."
