Media Eye News Bureau: Michael Wolff’s controversial book, ‘Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,’ about the Trump administration, is set for adaptation as a television series.

Endeavor Content has reportedly made a seven figure deal and purchased the film and television rights to the book. The book delves into the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency and depicts Trump as unprepared for the role at the White House, and that he is unclear about policy details. The book also includes quotes from former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who referred to the 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer as ‘treasonous,’ which eventually led to his resignation at Breitbart News over the furore caused by his statements in the book.

No network is currently attached to the project and so far it is known that Wolff will serve as an executive producer on the project with former BBC executive Michael Jackson who will be producing the show as well.

The book had also angered the US President himself, who retaliated on social media with a tweet that read, “Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book.”

The book however, was an immediate best-seller and was majorly sold out at bookstores the day it was released and climbed to the top of The New York Times bestseller list while becoming the most downloaded book in its first week.
