Media Eye News Bureau: Colin Firth said of Woody Allen, ‘I wouldn’t work with him again,’ as he stated he won’t do any projects with the director in the future. His statement came on the on same day as Allen’s adopted daughter Dylan Farrow gave her first televised interview accusing the director of sexual assault.

Firth worked with Allen in the film, Magic in the Moonlight in 2013, before Farrow published an open letter that alleged that her father molested her in an attic and also accused Hollywood of turning a ‘blind eye,’ to which Allen denied the accusation as ‘untrue and disgraceful’ at the time.

As the Time’s Up initiative launched this year in response to the sexual abuse in faced by women Hollywood, in December, Farrow wrote an op-ed repeating her claims and questioning why the movement against sexual violence had spared Allen and called on other actors to support her due to which many a-list actors such as Mira Sorvino, Rachel Brosnahan, Greta Gerwig, Rebecca Hall and Timothée Chalamet came forwards and stated that they regretted working with Allen. Hall and Chalamet, who have parts in in Allen’s next film, A Rainy Day in New York, said they would donate their salaries to charities.
