Media Eye News Bureau: ‘Dhadak’ movie produced by Karan Johar is all set to be released. On Saturday he shared the news on twitter stating,
“#6monthstoDHADAK #dhadak releasing 20th JULY 2018! Directed by @ShashankKhaitan and PRESENTING #janhvi and #Ishaan @DharmaMovies @ZeeStudios_ @apoorvamehta18” along with
a beautiful poster of the film, in which we can see Ishaan and Jhanvi posing.
Dhadak is Jhanvi’s and Ishaan’s debut film, inspired from the superhit Marathi movie ‘Sairat. However, Ishaan has already acted in Iranian director Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Cloud’.
Recently Karan Johar had also posted a picture of the couple on instagram stating, ‘Janhvi and Ishaan in #Dhadak …shoot progressing rapidly! Directed by @shashankkhaitan releasing July 6th,2018’
Manish Malhotra, who is the designer for Jhanvi’s wardrobe, posted few pictures on Instagram along
with Jhanvi and her actress mother Sridevi, who accompanied to her shoot location in Udaipur.
Director, Shashank Khaitan who has worked with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ said Jhanvi and Ishaan both are very hardworking.
As mentioned before, the movie is inspired from Marathi movie Sairat but setting of ‘Dhadak’ is different. Shashank told the news agency that, "The basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations. My story is based on another set up. It is (set) in Rajasthan. It comes with its own challenges, conflicts and style of a love story. We are adapting Sairat into the world that we want to."
