Media Eye News Bureau: Bueat ButeStar Wars: The Last Jedi, lead the way with a total of nine nominations including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress with Thor: Ragnarok closing in with eight nominations, including Best Film and Best Director for the Empire Awards 2018.
Further nominations include, Get Out for Best Film, Best Director and Best Newcomer for Daniel Kaluuya and Wonder Woman for the Best Film, Director, Actress and Sci-Fi/Fantasy categories respectively.
Call Me By Your Name has also bagged nominations for the Best Film, and is getting noticed for Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet in Best Actor and Best Male Newcomer categories and also for its Soundtrack and Screenplay.
With the Empire Awards reflecting all genres, John Wick: Chapter 2, Logan, The Big Sick, and Paddington 2 are all included as well.
Big Little Lies lead the way with four nominations with The Handmaid’s Tale, Twin Peaks, The Crown, Stranger Things 2, Star Trek: Discovery and Legion all featuring in the categories for television respectively.
