Kate Upton has accused Guess’ co-founder and chief creative officer, Paul Marciano of harassing women. While Upton did not detail any specific incident, she shared her concerns about Marciano with reference to the #MeToo movement as she tweeted, “It’s disappointing that such an iconic women’s brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director #metoo.” She then shared the same tweet on Instagram as well with the caption, “He shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women #metoo.” Her husband Justin Verlander retweeted the tweet as well.

Upton first became a celebrity spokesmodel for the brand in 2011 alongside Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford. Most recent faces of Guess include Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Camila Cabello and Jennifer Lopez. Paul Marciano co-founded Guess in 1981 and has served as its executive chairman and chief creative officer since August 2015.
