Model Miranda Vee alleged that supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid’s father Mohamed Hadid raped her and Guess co-founder Paul Marciano played a part in the assault as well. The revelation came after model Kate Upton used social media to accuse Marciano of sexual misconduct and Vee promply shared a screenshot of Upton’s tweet with a caption that read, “Thank you @kateupton it is time people like @paulmarciano & @mohamedhadid get exposed for who they really are! I met with paul at his @guess headquarters that is actually a apartment where he sexually harassed me & after that passed me on to his friend [Mohamed] who was going to meet me for ‘coffee’.”
She further elaborated, “I thought it was a professional meeting but it was just me, him and champagne where he date raped me in an apartment.”
She went on to state that when she previously tried to speak out against the incident, she was made to sign a non-disclosure agreement on being apparently threatened by Paul Marciano.
Mohamed Hadid however denied the claims as he said that when he met the model, it wasn’t a date and that he did not touch her. Further he stated that her story was “outrageous” and “totally untrue.” Hadid is also planning to issue a defamation lawsuit against the model and also said that if Vee wanted to make allegations against him and Marciano, she should have done so through law enforcement instead of on social media.
