The Voice recently returned for its 14th season with Voice coaches, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys, who were joined by new coach Kelly Clarkson. This season also added a twist to the auditions as coaches can use a block button to prevent another coach from getting an artist and they only get one block for the round.
Levine and Shelton have been with the show from the start. Shelton has coached six of the 13 winners of The Voice. Keys won in her second turn as coach and she would continue the winning streak for the third time as well. This is however, Clarkson’s first time on the show and though she has never been a judge she knows first-hand the pressures of appearing on a reality-competition series having won the first season of American Idol in 2002.
On the first episode of the season, Clarkson landed 3 singers of her team as compared to Levine, Shelton and Keys who each landed 2 singers on their teams.
