High Commission of India celebrated 110th Women’s Day at Gandhi Hall in India House on 8th March 2018, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries, Enfield Saheli and All Ladies League of UK.
The event consisted of a networking lunch followed by a panel discussion moderated by the Deputy High Commissioner of India, Dinesh Patnaik. The panel was constituted of eight eminent women speakers who have carved out a niche in their respective fields, ranging from business to politics and entertainment.
The discussion was structured around personal achievements of esteemed women speakers including overcoming challenges and key message or advice to other women to “Press for Progress”, which was this year’s campaign theme for International Women’s Day.
