Beyoncé and Jay-Z's 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter recently bid at an art auction for  $19,000.

Thy attended the 2018 Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles that was organized by Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson to raise money for a non-profit art and performance complex.

Blue Ivy initially bid $17,000 for an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier after which she then went higher at $19,000. After she raised her hand, Jay-Z jokingly tried to stop her from continuing to bid, drawing laughs. The moment was captured on camera and then went viral on social media.

The piece however, was won by Tyler Perry who bid at $20,000.

Blue Ivy then bid on the next item, a 36" x 36" art piece made of deconstructed law and medical books and won with a final price $10,000.

Beyoncé also made a winning bid of $17,000 on a set of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings that she had previously worn to an event as well.
