Luke Bryan recently spoke about the kiss between an American Idol aspirant and Katy Perry and defended her for the same.
The Swish Swish singer faced backlash after she kissed a 19-year-old contestant, Benjamin Glaze, who said he’d never been kissed.
Bryan stated, “It’s unfortunate that stuff like that turns into a story that big. I watched an actual interview where (Glaze) said that he was cool with everything. And I gotta back Katy on that. You know she’s in there working hard and making fun TV. And you know what, we’re gonna get right it sometimes and get it wrong sometimes. At the end of the day, me, Katy and Lionel (Richie) and Ryan (Seacrest) our hearts are in the right place.”
