The Congress gave a notice for moving a no-confidence motion against the NDA government and wanted it to be taken up in the Lok Sabha on March 27 as well.

The party reportedly submitted the notice in the office of the Lok Sabha Secretary General and also issued a three-line whip to all its members in Lok Sabha to ensure their presence when the House meets again.

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge expressed, “This House expresses No-Confidence in the Council of Ministers.”

In his letter to the Lok Sabha Secretary General, Kharge has requested him to include the motion in the revised list of business for March 27.

The letter reads, “Under Rule 298 (b) of chapter XVII of the Rule of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha, I hereby give notice to move the following motion in the house on 27-03-2018.”
