The high voltage political drama in Karnataka reaches to the next level as BJP's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa has elected as the legislative leader of the state. The decision was made in the legislative meeting of the party.

The election of the legislative leader now enables the BJP to meet the governor and claim to form a government. The governor will invite the party first to form the government if they will be able to prove the majority.

Meanwhile the Congress and the JD(S) had  jointly met the governor yesterday and claimed their majority numbers along with the letter having the signature of MLAs that have been supporting the alliance.

The election results had caused a huge confusion in the state as no party is able to form the government despite the BJP became the single largest party with 104 seats.
