The police officials have found the CCTV visuals of three terrorists who were supposed to be the culprits in the killing of Shujaat Bukhari, a senior journalist and the Editor-in-chief of "Rising Kashmir".
Mr.Bukari was killed by three men riding on a bike while he was going outside in his car from his Press Enclave office in Sri Nagar along with his bodyguards. His two security men were also killed in the attack.
The police released the CCTV images of the killers who covered their faces by a hidden mask and helmets. Meanwhile the police appealed all to help police to identify them. The government deployed security men for Bukhari after he faced a similar attack in 2000.
Mr Bukhari was a known face in Kashmir as he initiated many steps in resolving the strained relations between India and Pakistan and was also a part of several peace talks. He started his career as a journalist in Kashmir and then worked as a reporter for 15 years in The Hindu. He found "Rising Kashmir" in the later part of his life along with an Urdu daily as well.
