Three chief ministers in

The Congress party has celebrated the swearing-in ceremony of their three chief ministers, that too in a single day, in a grand way which in turn happened to be a show of power of the opposition unity. It has been a long time that the party witnesses the oath taking ceremony of three chief ministers simultaneously.

Senior leader and PCC President Kamalnath took charge in Madhya Pradesh when the party wrests power from the BJP after 15 years. Many opposition leaders attended the function that held at the Jambori  Maidan. The new CM signed in the file that writes off the agricultural loan as a first step of its completing their poll promises. The Congress president Rahul Gandhi had made a promise during his campaign in the state that the party will write off all loans of the farmers once they come to the power.

Bhupesh Baghel took oath as the chief minister in Chattisgarh. Baghel is currently the PCC president of the state and has a strong OBC community background. He was part of the Digvijaya Singh government in Madhya Pradesh and was a member of the Ajit Jogi government after the state partition.

Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has sworn-in as the chief minister of the Rajasthan while PCC president Sachin Pilot took oath as the Deputy chief minister as well. The oath ceremony took place at the historic Albert Hall, in front of several leaders and party workers.

The Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and the BSP leader Mayawati didn't attend the function as they had already informed about their absence. 

The Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh have attended the function along with the BJP leader and former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia.
