When the clock ticked 12 there arises the new year with new hopes. People across the globe gave a warm sent off to 2018 and welcomed the new year 2019 in a grand way. New Zealand became the first nation that welcomed the new year with a countdown at the gigantic clock in the Auckland. The neighbouring country Australia also welcomed 2019 with all its flavours
There was no short of celebrations in Mumbai, India's biggest city, as the people jumped in joy and hugged each other and said loudly – "Happy New Year". The city has put its feet with new hopes and new oaths. There was tight security across the city as the government has put 50000 security men to avoid any unexpected incidents.
New year joy erupted in Marine Drive, Juhu and all the main beaches with dance, music, crackers that added more colours to the celebration.
