Fadnavis to star election

Mumbai:Fadnavis will travel on a special 'rath' (van) which will be equipped with a special LED screen to highlight the achievements of the BJP-Shiv Sena government in the past five years.

"The 'Mahajanadesh Yatra' will start on August 1 from Amravati's Mozari village, which is the birthplace of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj and end on August 31 at Nashik," Patil, who is also the Revenue Minister, told mediapersons.

Fadnavis will be traveling on a unique' rath' (van) that will be fitted with a unique LED screen to highlight the BJP-Shiv Sena government's accomplishments over the previous five years.

"The' Mahajanadesh Yatra' will begin from Amravati's Mozari village on August 1st, which is the birthplace of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj and will end in Nashik on August 31st," said Patil, who is also the Minister of Revenue.

Fadnavis will cover 14 districts of Vidarbha and North Maharashtra in the first stage, reaching 57 constituencies of parliament, finishing at Nandurbar between August 1-9.

From 17 August, Fadnavis will embark on the second stage of 18 districts covering 93 constituencies.

During the' Mahajanadesh Yatra,' Fadnavis will reach 150 assembly sections in 32 districts and report on the government's performance for the last 5 years.

Fadnavis will address 87 significant rallies and 57 other government conferences during the' Mahajanadesh Yatra,' receiving a reception in more than 238 villages.

The responsibility for arranging the mega-yatra is entrusted to BJP State Secretary-General Sujitsinh Thakur, all ministers will attend the inauguration on 1 August, and later local legislators / ministers will attend the event.

Maharashtra has a total of 288 constituencies in the assembly, including 36 in Mumbai, which are likely to be elected in October.
