Two Delhi police officers were dismissed from their services after they were found guilty of the investigation into the Mukherjee Nagar violence, police said.

A Sikh man and his son were thrashed in wide light on June 16. The duo had claimed that after his mini taxi was brushed off with a PCR van, the event resulted from a heated exchange. Police had challenged the behavior of Sikh man who supposedly struck with his sword a policeman.

According to the police, constable Pushpinder Shekhawat and constable Satya Prakash had physically assaulted the Sikh man and his minor son.
