BJP Leader Sushma Swaraj passes away at 67

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj died soon after being admitted to the All India Medical Sciences Institute late Tuesday night. She was sixty-seven.

She was the minister of foreign affairs in the first term of the NDA in the cabinet of Narendra Modi. A couple of years ago, Swaraj, who underwent a kidney transplant, decided not to contest the last Lok Sabha elections and also opted out of government.
