National Conference filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the move by the Centre to remove unique status given to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcate it into two Union Territories. National Conference leaders, Mohammad Akbar Lone and Hasnain Mahsood filed the petition on behalf of party.
