Gokulashtami was celebrated on a very subdued note due to floods in different parts of the State. Many mandals prefer to skip the function this year and send the money to the flood affected victims.
However some decided to celebrate in a simple way with out any fanfare.
At Dadar Smt. Kamala Mehta school for blind , the visually challenged girls group formed human Pyramid to break Dhahi handi.Another womens' group went on to form pyramid near Dadar Railway station.
