Srinagar: On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik criticised Congress Leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury in Lok Sabha, stating that his comments in parliament "buried his party in the grave."
During a discussion in Lok Sabha on a resolution to scrap Jammu and Kashmir unique status, Mr Chowdhury questioned how it was an "internal matter" when "the United Nations has been monitoring it since 1948." Mr Malik's response went to a query about Mr Chowdhury's comments that the statements made by the Governor were similar to those made by BJP leaders, and that he should be made BJP leader in Jammu and Kashmir.
"I am doing my work with utmost devotion and . I will protect the "culture, dignity, identity, jobs and land of Kashmir. I don't care about these remarks, he said.
