Attacking Rahul Gandhi over his Kashmir remarks, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar today wondered whether "his Wayanad election had altered his mind." The remark left him facing questions that some journalists said he had not answered obviously. "I'm amazed … how far bank politics is going to go. Just because he won from Wayanad, does that imply that his soch (mindset) has also altered," said Mr. Javadekar, targeting the Congress leader at a press conference.
By the way, Wayanad has a big minority population—28.65% of Muslims and 21.34% of Christians. The Congress objected to Javadekar's remarks and called him the "Misinformation Minister."
Asking for an explanation on the comment, Congress tweeted, "Would the Misinformation Minister Prakash Javdekar care to explain what he means when he says 'Wayanad se jeete toh soch bhi badli?'"
