West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said today that the group of scientists at the Indian Space Research Organization "have worked hard" on the Chandrayaan 2 mission.
In applauding the ISRO scientists for their efforts, Ms Banerjee said that the ambitious moon mission is "a fitting tribute to our founding fathers who foresaw India's position far ahead of their time in the league of scientifically developed countries."
