Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning to Pakistan on Saturday that it will break into several parts if he does not stop supporting terrorism. "In 1971, Pakistan, which was formed on the basis of religion, was divided into two sections. If religion-based politics continues in Pakistan, no one can prevent it from being divided into several parts … If Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism, then it can not be denied that it will break into several parts in the future," he said. The Minister of Defence made these comments while addressing the Bharatiya Veer Jawan Trust event in Surat, where families of troops who had lost their life in line with duty were felicitated.
Singh also claimed that only Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) can make a discussion between India and Pakistan. "I have made it clear that if there are talks between India and Pakistan, then it will be only Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK)," he said.
