Aurangabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi should have ascertained his statement about Pakistan before criticising me, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said on Friday.
PM Modi, at a rally in Nashik ahead of Maharashtra assembly elections on Thursday, had claimed that Mr Pawar, at a recent event, said he liked Pakistan."I had said that Pakistan's political and army rulers continue to make fake claims against India in order to preserve their clout in Pakistani politics," Mr Pawar said."I'm not going to criticise Modi anymore because I don't want to harm the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister, "added the NCP leader.
