Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party  Working President J.P. Nadda asserted on Friday that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is watching defeat and writing on the wall is evident about the BJP coming to power in the state. "It's time for you to go. The writing is obviously noticeable on the wall. She's on her way out. We're on our way in. Under her feet the floor has slipped," Nadda said while addressing at a public awareness programme here on the abrogation of Article 370 pertaining to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

"I would like to ask Mamata whether vote bank is more important than the country?" he asked. Showing happiness at a number of parties even outside the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), backing the coalition in the Rajya Sabha last month in the voting on scrapping Article 370, Nadda said: "They put country above everything else".
