On Wednesday Afghan officials said that a roadside bomb blast took place near a civilian vehicle heading to a wedding, killing fifteen people, almost all are women and girls. Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Nasrat Rahimi said two other civilians injured in the blast in the northeastern province of Kunduz. He says that the explosion killed six women, six girls and two babies, as well as the male driver. The report had confirmed by Enamudin Rahmani, police spokesman for the province of Kunduz. The interior ministry blamed the Taliban for the attack . However The rebel group did not comment.
