New Delhi:Swiggy on its Series I funding round raises $113 million by existing investor Prosus N.V. and includes participation from Meituan Dianping and Wellington Management Company.
Sriharsha Majety, CEO of Swiggy says over the couple of years they have made strong strides in their vision of delivering unparalleled convenience to urbal consuments and was building a fundamentally strong and enduring business the sametime keeping consumers at core.
Last year Swiggy's transaction numbers grew nearly 2.5 times and restaurant partners grew over 1.6 lakhs with more than monthly adding 10000 new restaurants. Presently the company has over 250,000 delivery partners across 520 cities.
