New Delhi,  Ashish Kaul is back with his third book on terrorism in Kashmir called 'Rakht Gulab – The Blood Rose'. Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released the book here on Friday.

'Rakht Gulab' has already created a sensation by being sold out on the first day itself on Amazon. It has been published by the iconic Rajhans Prakashan who have published numerous famous books.

'Rakht Gulab' marks a rare achievement for Ashish Kaul as his third bestseller in succession in under two years.

"It is a proud moment for me personally but I believe the battle for restoring true peace in Kashmir has just begun. The world has remained silent for far too long and ignored the state-sponsored, multi-pronged genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. I am working to shake the sleeping world's dispensation to the plight of our motherland," said Kaul.

The author said that till date he has interacted with about 5,000 students across the country with the objective of educating the youth about the incisive true story of terrorism in Kashmir and how nearly 1.20 lakh families were rendered homeless in a matter of 48 hours and five lakh people were directly or indirectly impacted the mindless violence in the valley.

"It is an irony that Kashmiri Pandits were labelled as refugees in our own country where as we are the only community in the world that are the greatest ambassadors of peace and brotherhood. Despite being massacred and rendered homeless we have stood as a beacon of peace, tolerance and human values to the entire world," said Kaul.

"The world at large must know the truth and 'Refugee Camp' is the book that will bring forth the follies of various governments that fuelled terrorism and strategic tools of ethnic cleansing," added Kaul. 'Rakht Gulab' is also a message of peace for the youth of India to take a stand against terrorism and come forward to participate in peace building measures underway in the valley.

The foreword of 'Refugee Camp' has been written by the former Chief Of Army Staff General J.J. Singh.

On the sidelines of the release, the minister was also presented with Kaul's earlier bestseller 'Refugee Camp'.

'Rakht Gulab' is Kaul's tribute to the state of Maharashtra and the great people of Maharashtra who came forward and supported Kashmiri Pandits by giving them love, dignity and above all access to professional education in the state.
