The bitter disappointment of losing out on a treble by the hands of their arch-rivals Chelsea, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are in the transfer market to bolster them attack, with their sights set on English players Harry Kane and Jack Grealish. Guardiola’s side lost to Chelsea in the Champions League Final and FA Cup Semi-Final wherein both the matches their attacking players failed to score a single goal. What is the point of having superstars in the team who cannot score a goal when it matters the most?

Club legend Sergio Aguero and young Spanish Centre-Back Eric Garcia left forBarcelona on a free transfer creating a huge void in both attack and defence. With thethe possible departure of Aymeric Laporte, City are desperately surfing the market. Manchester City has made an official bid of 100 million Euros ($139m) for 27-year-old English Striker Harry Kane who has made his intentions clear which is to win Silverware. After Tottenham missed out on Champions League football, many top players are considering leaving the club. Manchester City made an official proposal to Tottenham for Harry Kane. Harry wants to go, but Levy will try to keep him.

Regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, Kane is known for his prolific goal scoring record and ability to link play. His playing style is very direct and he is smart which allows him to exploit defences and link-up play with fellow mid-fielders. Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy has no intention of selling his best player to their Premier League rivals. Erling Haaland is another potential target but the Bundesliga club have insisted the Norwegian is not for sale this summer.

Jack Grealish the 25-year-old English Mid-Fielder has emerged as a potential transfer target for both the Manchester Clubs. Manchester United were strong favourites in the race until Aston Villa placed a price tag of 100 million Euros. Jack Grealish caught the eye of a host of Premier League heavyweights with his superb performance last season. The 25-year-old scored six goals and provided 10 assists, helping Aston Villa to an 11th-place finish in the Premier League table.
