Rekha Pandey from the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Aayushi Dholakia from Gujarat were selected as first and second runners-up, respectively.

Several celebrities attended the event, where Vineet Jain, the Managing Director of Times Group, graced the red carpet. The winner, Nikita Porwal, will now represent India in the 73rd Miss World competition.

This year’s Miss India pageant was a vibrant celebration of diversity, with 30 participants representing all 29 states, including Delhi, and a Union Territory representative, ensuring every corner of India was represented on the stage.

The event concluded with Nandini Gupta of Rajasthan, the outgoing Femina Miss India 2023, crowning Nikita Porwal of Madhya Pradesh as the new Femina Miss India 2024.

The event featured celebrity performers, including former Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani, who walked the ramp.

The pageant commemorated its legacy by releasing a music anthem, ‘Rise of Queen.’ This anthem, a celebration of the strength and beauty of Indian women, is available on streaming platforms, allowing fans to relive the pageant’s history and significance.

The event featured various activities leading up to the finals, including promotional visits and subtitle competitions for contenders. These competitions, which tested the participants’ knowledge, wit, and charm, added an extra layer of excitement to the pageant.
The event underscored its commitment to social responsibility by raising funds for tribal women’s welfare through the ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ project. This is a testament to the pageant’s dedication to making a positive impact on society and inspiring hope for a better future.

The show, a culmination of beauty, talent, and social responsibility, will be broadcast on Doordarshan on November 10, 2024, and will be available for streaming on the JioCinema OTT platform starting the same day.

The yacht has been named ‘Lady Jacqueline’.

In a recent letter addressed to the actress, besotted Sukesh wrote: “My Love, My Jacqueline, Baby my Baby, saw your new pictures, God how can someone be so pretty, Baby you are just too extremely pretty. On this note, I have two things to dedicate to you my love, today.”

He dedicated the song ‘Sajni’ from the recently released movie ‘Laapataa Ladies’.

Sukesh was arrested on May 29, 2015, for offences under Sections 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and some sections of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act and the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act.

According to the ED charge sheet filed in 2022, he allegedly used illegal money to buy gifts for Jacqueliene.

Jacqueliene was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in a money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Earlier, to mark Jacqueliene’s birthday, the conman pledged a donation of Rs 15 crore and 300 homes for the families of the victims of the Wayanad landslide disaster.

He has also announced 100 iPhone 15 Pro for making the song ‘Yimmy Yimmy’ featuring Jacqueline, a super hit.

The Sri Lankan actress and model Jacqueliene made her acting debut in 2009 with the fantasy action comedy Aladin, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Riteish Deshmukh.

She then appeared in a special number, ‘Aapka Kya Hoga,’ in the 2010 comedy-drama Housefull.

Followers joined in beating Pancha Vadhyam (a traditional five-instrument ensemble) and performed Karakattam, an ancient folk dance of Tamil Nadu, characterized by the balancing of a pot on the head, while they accompanied the procession. In large numbers, devotees thronged the streets, especially on the main road leading to the river, eager for a glimpse of the elaborately adorned idols of the elephant-headed god Ganapathy.

Later, the devotees, in a display of unwavering devotion, took out the procession to immerse the idol in water.

Ananta Chaturdashi is the culmination of the ten-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi festival, during which devotees bid farewell to the deity Ganesh by immersing idols (visarjan) in water.

Anantha Chaturdashi, a festival steeped in cultural significance, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. According to the Agni Purana, the divine serpent manifestation of Vishnu — Ananta-Shesha, is venerated on this occasion to free adherents from sins.

For instance, a beautifully designed workspace or a piece of inspiring art can boost productivity and inspire a sense of enthusiasm.
