Bus Overturns In Gujarat: 21 Dead

Twenty-one people have died and more than 50 were wounded following the "private luxury bus" they were traveling in Banaskantha in northern Gujarat. The bus driver, transporting people home after a temple visit, lost control over a slippery highway in the hilly region owing to heavy rain, said rescuers. Prime Minister tweeted."Devastating news from Banaskantha. I am extremely pained by the loss of lives due to an accident. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. The local administration is providing all possible help to the injured. May they recover soon," Prime Minister tweeted.
