"Congress Should Be Taught A Lesson": Amit Shah

Thursday,26 December 2019 10:19 AM IST

New Delhi: Blaming Congress for spreading rumors about the amended Citizenship Act in Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah today kept the rival party responsible for violence in the last couple of weeks, as he said: "It's time to teach a lesson from Delhi's tukde-tukde mob." He asked the people in the national capital, where elections are due to take place early next year, to punish Congress. "Parliament addressed the Citizenship Amendment Act. No one (the members of the opposition) said anything . Once they were out (of parliament), they began to mislead people," Shah said while addressing an event in Delhi.
