"Opposition parties trying to please Pakistan", says PM Modi

Sunday,03 March 2019 01:02 PM IST

PATNA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi heavily criticised the opposition parties in the country during his speech at the Sankalp rally in Bihar. The BJP has organised Sankalp rallies across the country today as part of its pre-election campaign.

Modi, while addressing the party workers in Patna, said that the opposition parties are trying to please Pakistan.

"Pakistani is applauding the stance of the opposition parties after we destroyed terror launch pads. They asked for evidence of the surgical strikes. Now, they ask for evidence of the strikes by the Air Forces. Why they are keen on destroying armed forces' morale?", Modi said.

"Entire people of the nation will stand behind our soldiers. Competition is going on to insult 'chowkidar', but 'chowkidar' is living with more alert now", he added.

PM also highlighted the various aids given to Bihar during his speech. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was seen sharing the stage with the PM for the first time in a political rally.
