Dilip Walse Patil appointed pro-tem Speaker of Maharashtra assembly

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Dilip Walse Patil was named as the State Assembly's Protem Speaker. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will have to prove his majority on the floor of the house on December 3. Sena's Abdul Sattar said "We're ready. We've had 162 MLAs before, now we're 170 ... the number is going to go up. But there's no question that this govt has the majority, the three parties are going to do well for those 5 years and be back for the next 10 years,"
