A mob wearing masks, armed with lathis and stones attacked students and teachers protesting the Jawaharlal Nehru University hostel fee hike on Sunday. In the attack, several students were injured including Aishe Ghosh, president of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union (JNUSU). Terrified students sent SOS messages to friends, teachers, and media staff accusing the attack from the RSS-linked Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
