Payal Rohatgi sent to 8 day judicial custody in Rajasthan

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi was arrested by a local court in Rajasthan this morning and sent to eight-day judicial custody. On Sunday, a Rajasthan Police team detained Ms Rohatgi in connection with an allegedly offensive video on social media against the Nehru-Gandhi family. For content against Motilal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and other members of the family, Ms Rohatgi was booked under the IT Act on October 10. She had been served a notice earlier this month and was directed to furnish a reply in that regard.
