Postpaid mobile services restored in Kashmir

Srinagar: On Monday, post-paid mobile services were restored on the BSNL network in Kashmir Valley. The move comes over two months after the suspension of mobile phone services in the valley following the move of August 5 to scrap Jammu and Kashmir of their special status. The ban on prepaid mobile connections and internet services will continue, officials said “internet facilities are being opened” at tourist spots, officials said. Security forces have said they take all precautionary measures before the post-paid telephone service is restored.
