Several Union ministers to visit J & K this month to raise wareness

Six months after the revocation of Article 370 and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into Union territory, several Union ministers are scheduled to visit J&K later this month to raise awareness of the "positive impact" of the Centre's decision to end the special status of the former state. Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal, Minister of Law Ravi Shankar Prasad, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi are among the top ministers scheduled to visit the newly carved Union territory.
