Massive Fire Killed 19 Students In Surat

SURAT: Nineteen students were reportedly killed after a massive fire broke out at a coaching centre in Gujarat's Surat on Friday afternoon. The fire engulfed the third and fourth floors of the coaching centre in the Thakshasila complex in the Sarthana area of Surat.

There were many students there at the time of the fire and most of the students who were killed when they were trying to jump out of the building to avoid the blaze.

Most of the students are said to be between the ages of 14 and 15.

Attempts have been going on to control the fire by 19 units of fire and rescue and two hydraulic units.
