Modi Sends Wishes On Pak National Day, Says Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent greetings to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on the eve of Pakistan's National Day. Imran Khan, in a tweet, said that he has received  Modi's greetings.

Mr Khan said PM Modi told him that it is high time for the people to stay together "for a peaceful, prosperous and stable region".

Pakistan PM said he welcomes Narendra Modi's message and believes it is time to begin a comprehensive dialogue with India to resolve all issues.

"Talks required in all issues including Kashmir. Two countries need to forge a new relationship based on peace and prosperity for all our people", Imran Khan tweeted.

Pakistan Day is celebrated to mark the Lahore Resolution on March 23 every year.
