Rape victim in Unnao set ablaze by accused out on bail

Unnao: In a shocking incident, her accused, who is on bail on Thursday, set ablaze a rape survivor in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao. She sustained burn injuries of 90 percent and is currently being treated in a hospital in Lucknow. It is suspected that the five men who raped her this year in March are behind the incident. They were all arrested police said. Three of them are charged with raping her. According to sources, before setting her on fire, the culprits took the woman to fields outside the village, dousing her in kerosene. While after the incident, the key accused surrendered to the police, police raided other people's homes as they fled the spot after setting it on fire.
