British premium motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles all-new Rocket 3 GT power cruiser will be sold in India at Rs 18.40 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs. 40,000 higher than the regular Rocket 3 motorcycle which that is priced at Rs 18 lakh.

Auto market is gradually recovering from the coronavirus pandemic and the launch comes at the right time when demand for two-wheelers is picking up among public. The Rocket 3 GT is powered by an all-new 2,500 cc engine, which according to Triumph is 'the world's biggest production motorcycle engine'.

"We are focusing greatly on how to continue to create excitement in this industry. We all know we are stressed in the industry right now. The focus from our side is to continuously give reason for customers to come to our showroom and buy our products," said Triumph Motorcycles India Business Head Shoeb Farooq speaking to the media.

The bike is equipped with safety features such as optimized cornering anti-lock braking system as standard on Rocket 3 GT to maintain optimum braking performance and hill hold control that prevents the bike rolling backwards.
