Accident on Agra Expressway, Kesar Pan Masala Owner’s Wife Dies

Etawah: Preeti, the wife of Harish Makhija, owner of Kanpur’s famous Kesar Pan Masala brand, has died in a road accident. Reportedly, the tyre of Preeti Makhija’s car suddenly burst while travelling on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Etawah.

According to the information, Preeti, another lady (wife of Tilak Raj Sharma, Kanpur’s famous liquor baron) and a driver were in the car. Preeti Makhija died in this road accident, while the other lady and the driver were seriously injured.

The injured have been admitted to Saifai Medical College for treatment. The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem.

Harish Makhija and Tilak Raj Sharma were reportedly in another car on their way to Agra to attend a private function with their family members when the accident happened. The accident took place at the Karhal Toll in Mainpuri.

Piyush Makhija, son of the deceased woman, said that at the time of the accident, it was raining heavily, and the car was travelling at high speed.
