Mumbai: An exhibition of Weapons themed “Aabhishan” was held at the SIES College , Sion in memory of late Major R.Parameswaran, PVC, who was martyred in the border . He was an alumnus of the College. The exhibition was inaugurated by Lt. Col Vivek Choudhary, Commanding Officer, 1 Maharashtra Battalion NCC.
A wide range of weapons and models of Army, Navy and Airforce were displayed . The college conducts such exhibition every year to show how one can serve the country by joining the defence forces. The principal of the college Dr. Uma Shankar welcomed the chief guest and jointly inaugurated the exhibition. The exhibition was conducted under the supervision of Lt.Dr. D.K.Pawar, NCC officer of the College.
